Car Wash 4 Aleh Kids

Apr 29, 2012

Cleaning for Pesach took a fun twist when Adina Falk, a talented young lady from East Brunswick, NJ, brainstormed a Car Wash Campaign to benefit Aleh’s disabled children.

Adina chose Aleh as her Bat Mitzvah project a year ago, when she composed and sold a beautiful song* and donated its proceeds to the children.

This year, Adina’s teacher at Rabbi Pesach Raymon Yeshiva in Edison, NJ challenged the girls in his class to run a creative Pre-Pesach fundraising project during their vacation.

In response, Adina recruited over fifteen friends and advertised her Pesach Car Wash Campaign to benefit Aleh.

On Sunday, March 25, the girls rolled up their sleeves and armed with rags, suds and lots of laughs, took over the parking lot of a local shul.  Throughout the day they made dozens of neighborhood cars 100% Kosher for Passover.

We applaud Adina and her friends for their hard work and effort and thank them for bringing Pesach joy to Aleh’s disabled children.

* The song (titled "I Say") is available for download on iTunes, Amazon, Reverb, etc. for $0.99 – all proceeds will go to ALEH.
