The Grand Opening of Aleh Bnei Brak’s High Dependency Wing was a ceremony infused with hope, compassion, and love that encompassed every participant and child present.
Thanks to the generosity and vision of Dr. Alisa Kasachkoff and her beloved daughter Perela Sheyna Guta, the sickest children in Israel now have a quality home so different from the hospital environment they had been confined to.
Their families now have a measure of comfort and peace, knowing their children are being loved and cared for by Aleh’s “professionals with a heart,” who are dedicated to enabling them to realize their potential despite their serious medical conditions.
The ceremony began with welcoming greetings by Mor Tugendreich, Aleh Bnei Brak’s director. Participants received a tour of the facility, which ended on the 4th floor, where the High-Dependency Wing has been established. The unveiling of the dedication plaque by Dr. Kasachkoff and her dear daughter Perele was a touching moment of significance for them and all those present.
Speakers at the ceremony included Yehuda Marmorstein, CEO of Aleh; Major General (Res) Doron Almog, Chairman of Aleh Negev; and Guest of Honor Dr. Kasachkoff. All expressed their thanks to Aleh staff and supporters for their belief in the potential and inner spirit of the children.
Indicative of the staff’s dedication was the fact that throughout the ceremony, therapy continued to take place all around us – bringing home the fact that the children’s welfare is the guiding point of all activities, at all times.
Participants were then treated to an elegant lunch at a local hotel ballroom. A beautiful plaque was presented to Dr. Kasachkoff, accompanied with a special gift for Perele from the children of Aleh.
It was a memorable ceremony that left a deep impression on all those who were privileged to attend.
