Aleh Facilities
In 1982, Aleh established its first facility to provide children with severe physical and cognitive disabilities therapeutic services in a warm and loving environment. Today, more than 650 disabled children in Israel receive top quality medical, educational and rehabilitative care at our four branches in Jerusalem, Bnei Brak, Gedera and the Negev.
Each Aleh facility provides its residents with the support they require for all daily activity, including eating, bathing, sitting and basic hygiene. Caregiving and volunteer staff for many activities is at a ratio of one caregiver per child.
Aleh’s facilities are unique in that they meet all of the children’s needs – residential, supportive, educational, therapeutic, rehabilitative, and social – within a 24-hour medically safe environment. A multi-disciplinary approach ensures the child’s individualized therapy plan is carried out throughout the various frameworks.
