The children of Aleh Jerusalem are taken to a spacious local pool once a week for hydrotherapy sessions. In the water their muscles are more pliant and free from tension, and various exercises can be practiced in a fun and effective manner without becoming tedious or painful. A trained hydrotherapist works with a group of 5 children at a time, and caregivers are on hand to provide individualized attention.

The children love the water, where they feel light, buoyant and free. Their relaxed demeanors and happy smiles for the rest of the day prove how much the hydrotherapy sessions contribute to their emotional wellbeing as well.
