RESIDENTAL MEDICAL CLINIC - ALEH NEGEV-NAHALAT ERAN

Project Need:

With the planned opening of a new Residential Complex and the acceptance of another 48 residents, we seek to establish a Residential Medical Clinic located in the heart of the residential area. This will enable a comprehensive and immediate medical response for all 180 anticipated residents.

An on-site Residential Medical Clinic is especially important considering the distance of the new complex to the current clinic, which is located in the High-Dependency Wing. Furthermore, getting from the Vocational Centre, where residents spend their morning, to the current clinic is a long and arduous process. Due to the distance, it is difficult for the professional staff to provide a timely medical response when the situation arises. The new clinic will be located much nearer to the vocational workshops.

The planned Residential Medical Clinic will include doctors’ rooms equipped with all requisite medical equipment, and it will allow for the privacy, confidentiality and quiet environment that are appropriate for a medical examination. Medicines will be prepared and distributed within the clinic, and a doctor, paramedical staff and social worker will be on duty throughout the day.

The clinic will also include administrative offices and will serve as a meeting area for the coordination of the paramedical and caregiving staff.
