Giving the severely disabled ongoing animal therapy opportunities, including feeding and caring for the animals, sensory stimulation, nurturing and bonding, practice of motor skills, and vocational work  

Enhanced Hydrotherapy Program

Offering residents of Aleh Negev who show great improvement while in the water the extra hydrotherapy sessions that will make a real difference to their development 

Virtual Reality

Creating a virtual surrounding to enable a disabled child to experience exciting, interactive activities he or she would otherwise never be exposed to

Sponsor a Personal Aid

Providing the children of Aleh with National Service Girls who help each child fulfill their individualized therapy program throughout all daily activity.  

 

 

Volunteer Tutor Program

Cost: $10,000

Creating a volunteer base of tutors who will help Aleh’s outpatient children practice therapy exercises at home throughout the week; for children whose parents are unable to do so themselves 

Medical Clowns

Using laughter and fun to encourage communication and spread joy.

Mini-Vacation

Community Outings

Taking Aleh’s residents to various community sites to participate in regular activities with peers their age, including trips to the movie theater, the local mall, community gym, beach etc., on a monthly basis 

Pediatric Orthopedic Specialist

Cost: $5,000

Hiring doctors specializing in various fields to treat Aleh’s children on an ongoing basis to help prevent serious medical complications, including early osteoporosis and orthopedic distortions

Annual Staff Trip

Giving 100 staff members a chance to relax and rejuvenate on a full-day trip.

Toy and Tape Library and Puppet Theater

A stimulating and fun mobile library, with specialized devices for activation.

Vocational Training Program

An outing to the beach or the zoo exposes our youngsters to the beauty of the outside world.
