Here are Two Cool Bar Mitzvah projects that made a real difference!
To celebrate their Bar Mitzvot in a meaningful way, two recent BneiMitzvah chose to share their joy with the severely disabled children of Aleh.
Sam Cohen of Guilford, Connecticut threw on his baker’s hat and baked up a storm for his delicious Mitzvah project.
In his words: “I helped my mom bake cookies and sold them at my synagogue.
I chose Aleh to be the recipient of the money I brought in because I wanted to donate to a Jewish cause and Aleh looks like such a wonderful place for the kids. I looked at other charities, but Aleh stood out amongst them all.”
Daniel Liubarski from England is a very talented musician and songwriter. He rocked the house as he and his musical friends put on a wonderful concert to benefit Aleh.
“I want to donate this money as my first Mitzvah. It was raised by the charity concert me and my friends organized on my Bar Mitzvah party.”
